Mrs Deming's Teaching Philosophy: I believe in a strong dedication to the
total development of children both academically and through the commitment to
extra curricular activities that support and foster a schools culture. I have a passion for technology, a high
degree of creativity and enthusiasm, and an organized methodology to running my
classroom on a daily basis that is based on keen observation, adaptability, flexibility, and reflection. I
believe in thoughtful inclusion, differentiated instruction, procedures and
guidelines, and fair and open communication with my supporting colleagues, administration, parents, and most importantly my students. My hope as an educator
is to foster a variety of independent learners, as well as, nurture a lifelong
love of learning that transcends beyond their classroom experiences.

One of my students who is so talented in wood shop made this sign for me for my first classroom. I don't go anywhere without it!
Using iPad to Teach

My students love when I use the "Show Me" and "Remind 101" apps on my smartphone and/or iPad. Technology is something they resonate with and so I love showing them how to use apps like this to learn.
I love board messages

Technology Rocks!

One of the things I love about bringing technology into the classroom is its' relativeness. I love engaging students through technology, hoping that they'll be intrigued enough to want to create or perform something similar.
